Hotel Boutique Edelweiss
The venue is located in La Garriga, a town near the city of Barcelona.
Please check the Accommodation page for more information on where to stay near the venue, as there are no rooms for wedding guests in this hotel.
How to get to the venue:
Hotel Boutique Edelweiss is very close to the town’s train station, approximately 3 minutes walk. Currently the train line R3 is under construction, but will be finished around February (in case you find different Google Maps indications from the ones below).
Please note: we may arrange a bus transfer from Barcelona to the venue and back.
COMING DIRECTLY FROM THE AIRPORT:
Most affordable option (~5€ train ticket):
– Take the R2 Renfe Rodalies train from the “Airport” station (Terminal 2) to “Barcelona Sants”,
– Change trains at “Barcelona Sants”,
– Take the R3 Renfe Rodalies train from “Barcelona Sants” to “La Garriga”,
– Finally follow the Google Maps directions to get to the Hotel Boutique Edelweiss (~3 minutes walk).
– In total, the train journey from the airport to La Garriga takes around 1h 40 minutes.
Alternatively you can hire a car or get a taxi (~100€). The journey from the airport directly to La Garriga usually takes around 55 minutes.
COMING FROM BARCELONA CITY:
Most affordable option (~5€ train ticket):
– Take the R3 Renfe Rodalies train from “Barcelona Sants”, “Plaça de Catalunya” or “Arc de Triomf” to “La Garriga”,
– Follow the Google Maps directions to get to the Hotel Boutique Edelweiss (~3 minutes walk).
– The train journey from Barcelona to La Garriga takes around 50 minutes.
Alternatively you can get a taxi (~70€, ~40 minutes).
COMING FROM THE SURROUNDING AREA (La Garriga, Granollers, Les Franqueses del Vallès):
This is most likely the best and our recommended option.
From within La Garriga, the venue is only a short walk (5-10 minutes) from the available hotels.
From the nearby city of Granollers, the best option would be to take a taxi to the venue (~25€), and the drive from the centre of Granollers (e.g. Hotel Fonda Europa) takes about 20 minutes.
If you are staying in Les Franqueses del Vallès, we would also recommend that you go to the venue by taxi/car (~20€, ~15 minutes).
